Terms

The deal, in plain words.

What Mavult gives you, what we do not promise, and the rules that keep the service useful and safe.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Who this agreement is between

These terms are the agreement between you and Giuseppe Ranno in Italy, operator of Mavult. They apply when you create an account or use the service.

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which is part of this agreement.

2. What Mavult is

Mavult is a private job-match service. You upload a CV, confirm the extracted profile, set your searches and delivery preferences, and receive a digest of job postings scored against those choices.

Mavult is not a recruitment agency, employer, job broker or intermediary. We never submit an application for you and never send your CV to an employer.

3. Your account and CV

You must be at least 18 and use the service for yourself. The CV you upload must be yours and accurate. Matches based on an old or misleading CV can be old or misleading too.

Google sign-in is available today. Sign in with Apple is planned for the iOS app and is not active yet. Do not share a session or let another person use your account.

Email, Telegram and WhatsApp digests depend on the channels you enable and verify. We may remove a channel that is unlinked, invalid, abusive or no longer able to receive messages.

4. What it costs

Mavult is free to use: no card, paid plan or trial that converts into a charge.

Free does not mean unlimited. We can apply reasonable technical limits — for example the number of active searches, evaluations, uploads or messages — to keep the service reliable for everyone. Any limit shown in the product is part of the service.

5. Fair use

You agree not to:

Your CV remains yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide Mavult. The site, software, matching pipeline and brand remain ours.

6. What we do not promise

We would rather be clear before you rely on the service.

AI-generated reasons, strengths, concerns and interview suggestions are aids to preparation. You remain responsible for checking the posting and deciding what to do.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Mavult available, but maintenance, supplier failures, network problems and security events can interrupt it. We may change, suspend or discontinue features when needed, including sources, filters, channels and technical limits.

If a change meaningfully reduces the service, we will give reasonable notice where practical.

8. Leaving Mavult

You can stop using the service at any time. Deleting your account removes your CV, searches, preferences and derived data according to the retention rules in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, creates risk for other users, or must be closed for legal reasons. Where reasonable, we warn first and give a chance to fix the issue.

9. Liability

The service is free and provided with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for jobs you do not get, postings that change or disappear, employer decisions, loss of expected income, or decisions you make after reading a digest.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or rights you have as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

Small corrections take effect when published. If a change affects your rights or obligations in a meaningful way, we give at least 30 days’ notice before it takes effect.

11. Law and disputes

Italian law governs this agreement. If you are a consumer, the competent court is the one where you live, and nothing here removes a protection your local law gives you.

Before going to court, write to us: many issues are misunderstandings that can be solved by email. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

12. Contact
